NEW YEAR

It matters little whether
it's December 31st
or January 1st--
loneliness haunts every day
and I can't count on any

in the babel of tongues
I can't raise a wall and hope
to build a home and mourn
the fading blue that tinges
the little breathing space

This poem reveals the agony of loneliness. But still life holds hope for everything we can care about. Kumar Wani

I love the way you wrote about loneliness. 'Cause I've felt it all the time
