HOLI REVELRY

In their drunken chant
lurks divinity, the joy
let loose in rhythm
roses colour the spirit
drowsily lost and regained

Hi, I'm glad you liked my Tanka and my Haiku. Well, I read just some of your poems because I was very busy but I will read them all. I'm studying the B.A. in English Teaching at the University of Sonora. I'm taking a literature class (North-American Literature)and our teacher asked us to write those poems. We will also take a class named British Literature maybe next semester. I really enjoyed writing those poems because they are very relaxing and so are yours, the ones that I read. Your compliment was a pleasure to me... thank you very much! Remember: I'll read all of your poems.

Lovely poems. I left messages on your two other sites, but this one is probably where I should have left my comments. Please look for my comment on your Indian English Professor blog!

I would have never beleived you could say so much in just 20 words. Rich like cream! And deliciously compact. A sweet for soul.

Wonderful poetry! I will come back when I have more time to read some more. Sounds like we do similar jobs, I teach English language to university students, although right now I am looking for a new job. Thanks for your kind comment on my blog.
